Support Xavier Cosme's Emergency Surgery in Dublin

Hello friends & family:

I’m humbly reaching out during an incredibly difficult time and asking for your help. I'm Xavier Cosme; Y-Base IFC. On August 6th, while on a trip and after completing my flight from Boston to Dublin, I began experiencing severe abdominal pain shortly after arriving at my hotel. The pain was so intense that I fainted and was rushed to the hospital. After being admitted, I learned that I require emergency surgery, which is scheduled to take place on Monday after they reduce inflammation.

As some of you may know, I’m currently in Dublin, far from home, and without the support of my family close to me during this frightening ordeal. My husband, who is also an inflight, has had to call out of work and is flying out to be with me tonight. I also had to call out due to this unexpected emergency. Unfortunately, this situation has put us in a very challenging financial position with expenses and medical bills.

After the surgery, I will need 2-3 extra days to recover before I’m able to fly home.

We’re humbly asking for your support to help cover the unexpected expenses of my medical care, and lost income during this time.
