Support Xitlali's Legal Battle for Family

Hello, my name is Xitlali. Today at 9:30am 02/24/2025, my mom and brother were detained by ICE agents. As she was exiting her vehicle after moving for street sweeping, they ambushed my mom in unmarked vehicles and started harassing her. My mom, who was then too frightened to speak, was detained because the ICE agents thought she was not cooperating. She exercised her 5th amendment right, and they took offense and got aggressive and put her in cuffs. My older brother then came to assist her , and they then forcefully detained him, too.

I have high-grade osteosarcoma. It is a type of bone cancer that has left me in a wheelchair. My mother is my primary caregiver she takes me to all my treatments, and my older brother provides for us financially. Without them, I am left with no support. With them being possibly deported, my health is at a high risk. I am asking for any support that the community has to offer so I can afford a lawyer.
