Support Xyrus's Fight Against Trisomy 18

Donation protected
We are requesting help with travel, care, and medical expenses for Xyrus Jo Cameron; born 2/24/2025 to Mackenzie Eoff and Jordan Cameron.

Xyrus has Trisomy 18, or Edward's Syndrome, a genetic disorder that can cause developmental delays and deformations due to an extra chromosome 18, and can affect vital organs.
50% of babies diagnosed with T18 don't make it to term, and only 10% of those who do are expected to make it past the first week or through the first year. Xyrus is a month and a half old! His doctors are very hopeful for him and say he surprises them at every turn, beating every odd. We all see great things in his future; with proper special care, he can absolutely have a full life.
The expenses for T18 are high as it requires round-the-clock care, especially early on. Currently, Xyrus is with his parents in Salt Lake to get a feeding tube put in, after which they'll be sent home to wait for his heart surgery. He has had a few issues since arriving there, but as he does so well, he has overcome them and impressed his care team.
Xyrus has a hole in his heart where a wall should be. Surgery is required, but he has to be at least 2 months old and 7 lbs, which is why the feeding tube is necessary as he has trouble eating. They're also looking into a machine to take home in case he has an apnea spell because he has sleep apnea.
On top of everything going on with the baby, Mackenzie and Jordan were recently laid off from the business they worked for (it shut down just before the baby was born), so they were already in between jobs as well as trying to move closer to the baby's doctors when their car broke down.
Absolutely anything will help. Donations are appreciated, but we'll also ask that you simply share their story because if you're not able to help, maybe someone else can!
Kenzie and Jordan have kept positive and hopeful no matter what's been thrown at them in the last 11 months, and we can only imagine how hard this is for them, but they barely let it show. They've stuck together for their son and grown their bond as a family, and it's so beautiful to see. They are amazing, which is why Xyrus is such a fighter; he gets it from Mommy and Daddy.
