In the spirit of the #GivingTuesday, we’re inviting you to partner with us to help raise $10,000, so we can continue investing in Ghana’s youth by connecting them with opportunities to transform their lives and communities.

ABOUT YAF GHANA

What started as an educational outreach program in 2017 has now grown into one of Ghana's largest college access and youth development programs. The Young Achievers Foundation Ghana (YAF Ghana) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to promoting youth development in Ghana through access to college education and professional development resources. Each year, we work with dozens of Ghanaian youth to realize their leadership potential and prepare them for college, career, and community life. Our dynamic college access program, skill-building activities, and community engagement initiatives create opportunities for Ghana's most promising youth to obtain global education and become a force for change in their communities.

Our mission is to build a community of emerging leaders with skills to lead and accelerate the development of Ghana and Africa as a whole. We envision a new Africa transformed by millions of young leaders who solve problems and serve people in their communities.

In a little over five years of our existence, we have made significant strides in connecting Ghanaian youth to educational opportunities and career development resources. We have generated over $21,600,000.00 in educational aid for low-income Ghanaian high school graduates to pursue college education in some of the most prestigious colleges in the world, including Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Dartmouth, Cornell, Wesleyan, and Vanderbilt, just to name a few. We have also built significant partnerships, including one with Michigan State University, to introduce students in Ghana to the fundamentals of Computer Science and Information Technology. We continue to support Ghanaian youth to leverage all the resources available through their college education to create change in their communities.

WHY WE NEED YOUR HELP

With no major corporate support, YAF Ghana operates on donations from family, friends, and well-wishers. We’re calling on your support to help me raise $10,000 to continue providing these students with the resources necessary to help them access higher education. 100% of the money raised will go directly to:

● supporting our SAT Bootcamp

● paying for test registration fees

● cost of living for accommodating 30 annual scholars
