Support Yareli's Recovery After Tragic Shooting

We come to you in a plea for support in the wake of a devastating incident that has profoundly impacted the life of my cousin, Yareli Carrillo. On Thursday, February 29th, Yareli fell victim to a senseless act of violence at her workplace, Smile Plus Dentistry & Orthodontics, where she has been employed as an administrative assistant since 2021. She sustained gunshot injuries to both her legs. Yareli is currently hospitalized but in stable condition.

The assistant manager, who was shot five times, is expected to survive. Unfortunately, Yareli's close friend, Dr. Benjamin Harouni, the third victim, did not survive this extreme act of violence. Yareli says, "Dr. Benjamin Harouni was such an amazing person, he went above and beyond for all his patients, he was such a gentleman and caring person." This tragic event has deeply affected numerous families. The despicable actions of 29-year-old Mohammed Abdulkareem will be met with legal consequences. We are determined for justice to prevail and to see him formally charged as well as being held accountable for what he did.
