Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Supporters,

We are the Morrison family, and we are facing an unbearable loss. On January 31, 2025, our beloved 9-year-old Yasin Morrison was tragically taken from us in a senseless act of violence. While on his way to visit his grandparents with his father and little sisters, a stray bullet struck Yasin—robbing us of his bright future in an instant. Our family is shattered beyond words, and we now face the heartbreaking reality of saying goodbye to our sweet boy.

About Yasin

Yasin was a beautiful soul—gentle, loving, and full of light. As a non-verbal autistic child, he had a unique way of expressing love, bringing joy to everyone around him. He adored Toy Story, The Incredibles, and chicken nuggets, and he was a wonderful big brother to his five siblings. His smile could brighten even the darkest days, and his presence filled our home with warmth.

No parent should ever have to bury their child. No sibling should have to experience such a loss. Our family is devastated, and we need your support to honor Yasin’s life and navigate this unimaginable tragedy.
