Support Yazmin's Path to Permanent Residency
Donation protected
My name is Alex, and I’m reaching out on behalf of my wife, Yazmin, who has lived in the U.S. for around 22 years; her family brought her here when she was just three years old, hoping for a better life. Thanks to Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA), Yazmin has been able to live, work, and pay taxes here. We’re deeply grateful for the doors DACA has opened for her, but we live with constant uncertainty and fear of being separated. There’s no pathway to citizenship for DACA recipients; for them, DACA is just a band-aid. And with it constantly under threat in the courts, our worry for our future only grows.
Like many people all we want is a chance to build a stable life, have children, and maybe even buy a home together. We have so many dreams, and it breaks my heart knowing that none of them feel possible until Yazmin can fix her status.
Because I’m a U.S. citizen, I can petition for her Adjustment of Status to finally give her the security she deserves. But like many families, we’re struggling financially, and the costs are more than we can currently manage. That’s why, with a heavy heart, I’ve started this GoFundMe.
I never imagined we’d be here asking for help, but we are living uncertain times, and I can’t bear the thought of a future without her. Please consider donating to help us cover the costs of Yazmin’s application. And if you’re unable to donate, we would be so grateful if you could share our story with others. Every contribution brings us one step closer to Yazmin’s Green Card and a future without fear. If you have came this far in, I’d like to thank you for taking the time to read this.
Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts.
