Support YCore's Community-Based Social Impact
Donation protected
We're fundraising for an organization we care deeply about, YCore. Over the past 3 months, we've been volunteering as YCore fellows, where we've learned practical skills to help support non-profits in the SF community, had challenging conversations about the overlap of ethics and technology, and connected with our peers who are also passionate about being part of positive social change in this world.
YCore enables young professionals like me and you to use our experience, knowledge, and network to make long-term systemic impact in our local communities. While donating to local charitable orgs is very important, a lot of these orgs need smart people dedicating time and expertise to help them with things like marketing campaigns, inventory systems, outreach programs, website building, and more. YCore does just that.
Our team has had the pleasure of partnering with a Bay Area non-profit, 826 Valencia, doing crucial work for underserved San Francisco youth to advance their creative writing skills. We've been helping 826 Valencia build the necessary tools and strategy to recruit more volunteer tutors for children who participate in their programs.
We hope that every community can experience the positive impact that YCore is having on us, the SF community, and non-profits in the Bay Area community. This is why we're asking you, if you are able, to donate funds to YCore. Whether you can give $5 or $100, your contribution makes a difference and will help YCore expand to other communities in California and beyond.
