Support Yesenia and Willi After Tragic Loss

Hi,

My name is Ana Bonilla and I have known Roxana for over 13 years since we moved to the Boston area. She first was our cleaning lady, but soon became a dear friend to our family. We have seen how hard she and her late husband, Alonso, worked to bring her two daughters (Lily 25 & Yesenia 22) from El Salvador to the USA. After being away from them for over 10 years, they finally obtained their US residency and were able to join their Mom in 2022.

Her younger daughter, Yesenia, and her boyfriend got pregnant in May 2024. They were all so excited for the baby boy, Samuel, who was supposed to be born in late January. We had even planned a baby shower for the middle of December.

Unfortunately, this past Thursday, Oct 31st, Yesenia stopped feeling her baby. She was hospitalized on Saturday, and on Sunday, Nov 3rd, she had to deliver her stillborn baby boy.

They are all devastated and overwhelmed with grief. Yesenia and Willi both work for McDonalds (Willi actually works in 2 Mc Donalds working over 60 hrs a week), and it is very unlikely they will get any bereavement leave. They are also considering having a proper funeral for their first baby boy, but the cost of this is greater than what they can afford.

We are asking for any donations you can give to this hardworking and kind family. This will help them cover for their missing work time and a proper funeral for their Baby Samuel.
