Support Yim's Family in Their Time of Loss

Donation protected
On August 31, 2024, our brother, Yim (pronounced YEE), tragically passed away at the young age of 11. He woke up that morning excited to attend a family picnic and play with his cousins at Lake Pacawa in Plover, WI. No one could have imagined that he would never return home again.

Yim was with his cousins in the lake when he drowned. He did not know how to swim and did not have a life jacket on. He was reported missing around 6:20 pm, and his body was not recovered until two hours later. He was rushed to the hospital but was pronounced deceased when he couldn't be revived in the ambulance. All the details of this tragic incident are still unknown, and we are in disbelief that his life was cut so short.

Yim was looking forward to starting 6th grade and wanted to join the band and play the trumpet. He loved football, fishing, and was a fan of Spider-Man. Those of us who knew Yim remember him as a joyful, respectful, and caring kid. He liked to help his parents around the house and was interested in learning new skills. He was friendly to everyone he met and had such a kind soul.

Yim was very much loved. While the loss of a child is a pain that no words or actions can heal, we hope to raise funds through this GoFundMe to assist his parents with the costs of his funeral. Thank you for any contribution you are able to help with.
