Help Support Yogarden's Greenhouse Project!

Aloha. We are Paul & Kelly, co-founders of Yogarden Organic Farm in Waimanalo, HI. Yogarden grew its first roots back in 2010 when we began growing gardens and edible landscapes around our home in Kaneohe. Our passion for growing food and sharing what we do with the community has blossomed into a 3.5 acre certified organic family farm on the island of Oahu.

Over the years, our vision for a productive farm greenhouse/workshop event space has evolved. After 8 years of slowly disassembling a decrepitated old shadehouse & clearing weeds & invasive trees w/ volunteers, we finally began to move forward on the expansion. As we welcomed our second baby in 2023, Yogarden received a grant that would help this vision come to life. Our grant was able to help fund a portion of the build out (which was amazing), but we still have a long way to go.

As supported as we have felt over the years with our community and volunteers, we have learned that farming is truly a labor of love. Our visions expand beyond what a farming salary currently provides.

We decided to start this gofundme page to help support the financial costs involved in completing this space. The funds will be used to purchase final construction materials & the labor of skilled builders to bring our vision to life. In addition to the construction, we also would use the funds to support the expansion of our garden and lawn space that will be used to host small groups of people for educational farming and food workshops, yoga & body movement, music, and more.

Your donations will help expand our greenhouse production (including farm sprouts & edible fruit trees), create a safe & comfortable space for people to gather & learn, expand our food production through the surrounding gardens & hillsides, and help complete a long time vision come to fruition.
