Support Yolanda and Family Through Recovery

Yolanda Martinez is the owner of Foiled Hair Salon  , a talented stylist, cook, artist, daughter, sister, ally and most importantly, a Mother. Not only is she a Mother, but is the sole provider for her three children: Roman (13), Miriam (11) and Frida (4). Through her friendships and work at the salon, she has given in-numerous support, confidence and an escape to her community.

Yolanda recently faced a life-threatening situation where multiple brain aneurysms were found, two of which ruptured. She underwent a risky surgery and miraculously is still here with us today. The fight is not over, as there will be ups and downs. Her health is of utmost importance to not only her, but to her three children who depend on her for her love and support. She will be monitored in the ICU at St. Lukes for an entire month under critical care.

The medical bills will be high and it will also be an entire month and a half off from making money to pay bills for her salon, home and other general living expenses. 
We ask the community to support her and her family from suffering such a huge financial loss so she can focus on her health and wellbeing. Yolanda had a lot of misgivings when asked if we can set up a fundraiser, but she is able to bypass that feeling and accept the help that she knows is needed. Please donate what you can!
