I serve as North Carolina State Coordinator for Citizens Climate Lobby (CCL), a nonpartisan, citizens advocacy group focused on building political will for a sustainable world. Each year we hold a national conference in Washington, D.C., followed by a Congressional Lobby Day. We meet with House and Senate members from both parties to discuss good, bipartisan climate solutions. This is a wonderful opportunity for anyone, but especially for college students or anyone between the ages of 18-24. However, the expenses of the trip are often out of reach for most. Please help us send at least two young NC CCL members to DC this summer!
