Emergency: Help Yousef and his family from Gaza

Hi, I am Tarek, organising this fundraising on belhalf of my friend, Yousef, in Gaza.

Yousef is a 17-year-old student, and his family has seven members. They find themselves in an urgent and dreadful situation in Gaza, seeking your support and help to evacuate temporarily to a safe place and find a new house instead of the destroyed one.

These are Yousef's words:

"During those four months, we faced unimaginable challenges every day. We were displaced and forced to leave our home in Gaza City to the south due to the intensity of the war and to find a safe place. Unfortunately, our warm home, which is full of memories, aspirations, and dreams was destroyed. After 121 days of war, the situation has reached a critical point, and we currently have difficult living conditions, suffering from lack of minimum necessities for living. Thereforr, I am reaching out to you for your kind help.

My father’s biggest dream is to keep us safe. He suffers from heart disease, and unfortunately, he can't obtain his medications due to lack of medical supplies and hence expensive prices.

My oldest sister, Shimaa, graduated from business administration department, and was recently appointed as an assistant lecturer at her university because she scored the highest among her colleagues, but she has now lost her job because of the war. The university was completely destroyed.

My sister, Hala, studies economics but was unable to complete her bachelor’s degree due to the war as well. Finally, our little sisters, Deema and Dana, who are 12 and 10 years old respectively, are always frightened in the war, and that has had a devastating impact on their innocent childhood and mental health. It's heartbreaking that all what they need is to play with their friends at school, but there are no more friends nor school left now. It is something that took them to a mental trauma state.. something their brains are unable to take!

The only thing that we think about now is to survive without losing anyone from our family and to find a new home instead of our home which was destroyed after we fleed to Rafah. We urgently need to get out of this war zone, please; we are seeking your kind help.

For evacuation, we need $5000 per adult person above 16 and $2500 for children below 16."
