Support youth-led climate cafés during COP27
Donation protected
COP27 is just 48 days away. As world leaders come together to pledge their climate commitments, it feels as if a small group of people in power hold the fate of humanity in their hands.
70% of young people today are eco-anxious; 56% believe that humanity is doomed. As a generation, we’ve inherited this crisis, yet we’re systematically excluded from the decisions governing our future. It has never been so important that we create spaces for young people to come together, connect, and collaborate with the people in our communities. We must empower our peers to show up as leaders, when the people we’ve trusted to solve this crisis have failed to.
While the spotlight turns to Egypt, Force of Nature will host climate cafés: safe spaces to hold difficult conversations, connect with others, and turn eco-anxiety into action. Led by trained youth facilitators, cafés will be open to folks from all generations and backgrounds.
In addition to a flagship café in central London, we will provide micro-grants and resource packs to young activists across the UK (and beyond) to set up their own decentralised cafés.
We need partners to make this vision a reality. That includes up to £25,000 in financial support to fund opportunities for youth activists. If it’s within your power, please help us bring this vision to life by donating: or sharing the link with someone who can.
