My name is Katherine Hong Yu, and I am reaching out during the most heartbreaking time of my life. My beloved husband, Yuyi Jiang the pillar of our family, tragically passed away while on a fishing trip with his friend. His sudden and devastating loss has left me, my two sons, and our family reeling, both emotionally and financially. My husband worked tirelessly to provide for us, ensuring we had a stable home and that our children could pursue their dreams. Now that he is gone, I am doing everything I can to hold our family together, but the weight of this burden feels overwhelming. We are now on the verge of being evicted from our home, and we are desperately trying to secure a house in Temple City to rebuild our lives and create a stable environment for my sons. However, with only one income and so many bills piling up, I am struggling to make ends meet. My oldest son, Andrew, is in his first year of college, pursuing a nursing degree. He is working two jobs to help support the family, but it’s not enough to cover his tuition, our living expenses, and the urgent financial needs we face daily. Nursing has always been his passion, and it breaks my heart to see him balancing so much at such a young age.
