Introduction:
Hello, I'm Rick Ruiz. Alongside her loving mother, Nancy Ironside, I am standing by Yvetta Limón, a resilient spirit who has silently battled mental health challenges throughout her life. One of her most daunting struggles has been a life-threatening eating disorder, which she courageously tried to keep private for years.
Yvetta's Story:
On August 2, Yvetta took the bold step of seeking treatment to better her health and well-being. This decision, although critical for her recovery, has kept her away from work, leading to lost wages and dwindling savings. As the end of her treatment nears at the end of September, we're deeply concerned about the financial challenges that await her.
Challenges Faced:
Year after year, Yvetta has put on a brave face, coping with both the mental strain and the physical toll of neurological issues and her eating disorder. Despite these challenges, her spirit remains unbroken. Now, with the added burden of unpaid time off work, she is faced with potential eviction and an inability to afford basic necessities and continued care.
Our Turning Point:
The realization of Yvetta's mounting bills and drained savings hit us hard. We knew we had to step in and rally our community to support her. Her well-being, both mentally and physically, is paramount. That's when we decided to start this GoFundMe campaign.
Your Role:
Your support means more than just monetary assistance; it represents a community that cares. By donating, you'll be providing Yvetta with the peace of mind to focus solely on her recovery without the looming worry of unpaid rent, bills and basic necessities. Let’s ensure that when she is discharged, the weight of financial stress doesn't hinder her progress.
The Impact of Your Contribution:
Your generosity will ensure that Yvetta has a secure place to call home, access to essential medications, adequate nutrition, and the means for follow-up care. Every single contribution, no matter its size, will directly impact her road to recovery and long-term health.
Join Us:
Nancy and I implore you to consider supporting Yvetta in this crucial phase of her life. Your kindness can set her on a path where she can rebuild, thrive, and move forward without looking back. Every bit counts.
Thank you for taking the time to be a part of Yvetta's journey to healing and stability!
