Miss Yvonne Baker is a dedicated worker, selfless mother, grandmother, sister, friend, and confidant who has always been willing to help others in need despite her limited resources. Now, she urgently needs our help.

Miss Baker has served her community with distinction for over 30 years. She has been an early childhood educator, a practical nurse, and a pioneer in several social projects benefiting at-risk youth, the indigent, and the elderly. Her unwavering dedication earned her respect and esteem as the President of the Petersfield Sports and Community Club for 15 years and Vice President of the Association of Clubs for 6 years.

Regrettably, Ms. Baker has been diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast cancer, Invasive Ductal Carcinoma. She underwent a double mastectomy and chemotherapy, and she is currently receiving Herceptin injections due to being HER2-positive and ER-negative. However, due to adverse side effects from Hepatitis C, her chemotherapy was discontinued until she receives EPCLUSA 400mg treatment for Hepatitis C urgently.

This critical treatment is unavailable locally and costs over USD $10,000 for a twelve-week supply. Ms. Baker may require additional treatment after the initial twelve weeks. Her doctors at Cornwall Regional Hospital have advised that she needs this treatment urgently to resume chemotherapy and avoid further risks of metastases.
