Support Yvonne’s Healing Journey

Earlier this month our beloved friend Yvonne Sandoval was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. In the coming weeks she will face surgery followed by chemotherapy in Albuquerque, NM. Yvonne has always approached life’s struggles with strength and fierce determination—this is no different.

As a single-mom of 11-year old Yoli, working and living on the sacred land of her ancestors in Villanueva, NM, Yvonne needs our support as she organizes to heal from this cancer and return to full health. All money raised will contribute to Yvonne’s medical care, including traditional and holistic healing practices, and basic living expenses as she is no longer able to work. To date, she has been a therapist and steward of the teaching farm Bueno Para Todos.

Yvonne describes this campaign and the prayers and support she is receiving from so many as “weaving loved one’s together on this thread of the journey” and we hope that you will join us by: 1) making a contribution of any amount, and 2) sharing this campaign with your networks and others who know and love Yvonne and Yoli.
