Zach Carr, a member of our community and constant source of joy for those around him, suffered a debilitating injury and needs our help. His injury occurred while helping someone else passionate about car audio, and has left him immobile and in serious pain. While unloading a sub box, he rested the corner of the box on the bumper. It subsequently fell and the corner of the box landed on his foot, catastrophically fracturing it. He had surgery recently and while the surgery went well, he likely won’t be able to walk, much less return to work for many months. With a family of 5, his recovery and financial burden would be greatly improved if you could spare ANYTHING. He’s always been there when I needed him, and I’m sure many of you could say the same. September 15th update:

Zach is home and recovering. Sleep isn’t coming easy, and the pain level is off the charts. The pain, coupled with lack of sleep and daily anti-clotting shots in the stomach along with minimal food intake due to nausea has made for a tough few days. That said, he’s on the road to recovery. Please spread the word about this fundraiser, and if you can spare anything…anything at all, it would help so much! He’s so grateful to each one of you who passed on well-wishes or donated. He will most likely be unable to work for 3 months, possibly longer, and exhausted his funds in order to pay for the surgery.
