Zimbabwe Hospital Solar Energy for Operating Room
Want to make a difference? I am raising money on behalf of Better Healthcare for Africa Inc. in order to keep the operating rooms functioning at Saint Albert’s Mission Hospital in northern Zimbabwe. Zimbabwe‘s electrical grid is shut down for half to 2/3 of each day: solar batteries make the difference between being able to perform a critical surgery and not. The urgency is a reflection of the high maternal and fetal mortality rate during and after deliveries, many of which must be performed by cesarean section. The existing solar batteries that support the operating suite are exhausted; replacements are desperately needed. Any amount will help....thank you in advance.

In the last 4 weeks of a woman's pregnancy they board at the hospital in order to receive immediate help if necessary.
