However, as we navigate the complexities of this loss, we’ve encountered unforeseen expenses. To ensure Zohreh and her daughters can fully cover funeral costs, some living expenses, and outstanding debts left behind by Maisam, we have increased our goal to $55,000.

Additionally, we have set a third goal of $85,000 to provide a down payment for a smaller, more affordable home, giving this family the stability and security they so desperately need as they begin to rebuild their lives.

About Maysam and His Family’s Journey

On December 8, 2024, the Ostovari family suffered an unimaginable loss when Maysam, a devoted husband, loving father, and faithful follower of Jesus, passed away unexpectedly. He leaves behind his wife, Zohreh, and their two young daughters, who are now facing life without him.

Maisam’s story is one of faith and resilience. Fifteen years ago, he gave his heart to Jesus, leaving behind his former life as a Muslim. This decision brought intense persecution in Iran, forcing him to flee with his family to Turkey, where they lived as refugees for three years. In 2016, they finally found safety and hope in the United States.

Despite the challenges he faced, Maysam worked tirelessly to create a better life for his family, embodying love, kindness, and hope. His loss is not only deeply felt by his family but by everyone whose lives he touched.

Zohreh and her daughters are now grappling with overwhelming emotional and financial challenges. Without life insurance or savings, they need urgent assistance to cover:
