We are the Smithfield Fire Department. Sadly, one of our own was recently diagnosed with a highly aggressive form of cancer. The treatment is going to be  just as aggressive as the cancer itself.  Unfortunately, many of us have known someone that has had to take on this same battle. It is life changing, heart breaking, and a true test of will and spirit. In addition to the treatments, there are many other expenses to endure i.e. travel, lodging and everyday family expenses. With this page we are hoping to help lessen these financial hurdles and bring to peace of mind to our member and his family.
