In October, 2020 I was in an accident where I was hit by somebody going 70 miles an hour while I was stopped in my truck. I have sustained I have sustained significant injuries to my back neck and is ackneck and a compound concussion and moderate brain injury. My personal injury protection through my insurance company has been maxed out by about 8 times now and I am still facing quite a bit of speech there'll be, physical therapy, stynal injections, and limited mobility. I'm also having some cognitive struggles that have become more and more of an issue.
I am currently living in my 5th wheel travel trailer so my rent and living expenses are minimal, but I am unable to work more than about 5% of what I was doing pre accident. I am still waiting on legal recourse and as such have almost no income. I still have expenses required to live and some of my therapy is now coming out of pocket until the settlement is secured which could be years for all I know.I'm so grateful for the people who have stood behind me and supported me during this difficulty. I hate asking for help as anyone who knows me would know. But I'm also the most thankful for your help in this time.
I am hopeful that I will be able to get back to working with horses at least half time, and planning to restart a soap making business whenever the settlement is finished. In the meantime, I am scraping up gas and grocery money as I can, working whenever I'm able, but it isn't enough.
