Supporting the Reimers family during a tragedy

Hi, my name is Ned Hodgson. I am writing this in a time of sadness and grief.

On February 7, 2024 Luke Reimers tragically lost his life in a traffic accident south of Sioux Falls, SD. Luke served his country in the Marine Corps, having deployed several times to war zones in the Mideast. He always made it home to his family from the deployments. Sadly on February 7th, Luke did not make it home from work.

Quoting his wife Crystal, "I prepared for this during Luke's multiple deployments to war zones, but I was not prepared to receive this news when Luke was driving home from work."

Luke was a Marine veteran who loved fiercely loved our country. Luke was the Post Commander of the Brandon VFW Post 4726 for 2 years.

Luke was a loving husband and a devoted father to his two children. Luke was a friend to many and would drop everything to help someone in need. Luke was my friend, his family was our family.
