Supporting a Kfar Aza Special Family
Donation protected
Ellay and Ariel Golan, along with their one-and-a-half-year-old daughter, Yael, were severely burned when Hamas terrorists set fire to their home in Kfar Aza on October 7, 2023. The Golans survived, but they were critically injured. Second- and third-degree burns covered 60% of Ellay’s body, 45% of Ariel’s body, and 30% of Yael’s body. They were evacuated to the National Burns Center at Sheba Medical Center near Tel Aviv. Ariel was placed into a medically induced coma for eight days and Yael for ten days. Ellay, the most severely injured of the three, was put into an induced coma for 58 days. They have all miraculously recovered and are welcoming a new baby into their family in two months. Next week, Ellay will begin her residency at Sheba, where her family was treated and saved. She plans to specialize in ICU treatment and anesthesia.
This beautiful young family has lost countless friends from their kibbutz along with all of their possessions, including their home and car. We would like to raise enough money for them to buy a car in Israel, which will be necessary for Ellay to use to get to her residency.
