Supporting Aaliyah Rise above all adversities

Aaliyah was under asthma attack, followed by a heart attack, without any sign of life for more than 30 minutes, inside of her school. Other than asthma, Aaliyah was very healthy, with no other conditions. We have not been able to stay out of the hospital due to the enormous insult endured. According to doctors, she suffered the worst possible brain damage that one can, an anoxic brain injury, and her whole body took a hit, as a result of being without life for too long on April 16, 2019. The suffering is beyond words, this little girl hasn't been able to experience true relief since this occurred. Aaliyah's school didn't help protect her from all the known triggers of asthma, but sent her into asthma inducing conditions. Nevertheless, what the devil meant for evil, God will use to glorify his name. The doctors had been convinced that Aaliyah would die. However, Aaliyah is alive and breathing on her own without assistance. But, everything else has been compromised. I should be teaching my Aaliyah how to drive, but I'm changing her diapers! I've never seen or heard of anything so mean, until this thing touched Aaliyah's life! Before this insult of injury was induced upon Aaliyah, she was fully functional, able to cook, clean, and take care of herself. She absolutely loved music of all kinds, and reading. I had a hard time pulling her away from reading to do other things. When it was lights out, time for bed, she'd always ask to read one more chapter. From the age of 5, Aaliyah told me she was going to be a lawyer and then a judge. Aaliyah never wavered from her aspirations. Moreover, 3 weeks prior to her injury she told me how badly she wanted to help people, and needed to figure out what area of law would be most beneficial in order to do so. As of right now Aaliyah's current needs are greater than a newborn child. She's not able to talk, walk, lift her head, and needs help with clearing her sylvia or mucus to avoid aspirating. Insurance doesn't meet all of her needs. God has the final say, I trust Him to do it. If you're moved to help we need all the kindness we can get, no amount is too little. God bless and keep praying with us!
