Supporting Adria Through Her Cancer Battle

My name is Christine and Adria is my daughter's best friend. Being friends with Rose (Adria's Mom) and a Mom myself, I knew I couldn't just sit back and not help the family any way I could. Starting this fundraiser on behalf of the family is a good start in doing just that!

On September 11, 2020, after going through months of pain, not sleeping because of pain, being on pain medications that didn't always work and trying to get in to see doctors (which proved to be very difficult during a pandemic), Adria had an MRI and was airlifted to the Children's Hospital (IWK) in Nova Scotia where she was diagnosed with a cancerous tumor that is wrapped around the base of her spine... For now, treatment is chemo  which will hopefully shrink the tumor and then we'll know more about what the doctors will do after that.

Adria is 10 years old. She loves playing with her friends on Fortnite and Minecraft, loves running around outside with her friends which she hasn't been able to do in so long because of this tumor and the pain it's caused and she was very much looking forward to going back to school to see all of her friends.

Now her family needs your help!

Because she needs to be in another province to receive treatment, that means they are going to be struggling to pay bills since both of her parents (Rose & Jeff) will be there to support her during her treatments. 
Any funds received will help the family pay their bills at home while their younger child Quinn is still home with his and Adria's Grandmother, Eva,  as well as any expenses while they are in Nova Scotia-- it's needed ASAP.

We don't want the family to worry about anything during this hard time since finding out Adria has cancer and all of the pain she has gone through for months has been hard enough for the whole family, including Adria. 
If we could ease any financial burdens so they could focus solely on Adria, that would be the best for the family.
