A very special friend of our family was violently attacked while walking to her car in a grocery store parking lot several days ago. Her family is relieved her injuries were not life-threatening, but she has a long road ahead of her. Alma is a self-employed single mom trying to make ends meet. While she spends the next several months recovering physically and emotionally, she and her four children desperately need money for medical treatment, rent, food and other essentials.
