Supporting Amanda with Barbara Vandecar's Final Arrangements

As this time very diffucult I am helping my cousin Amanda with final arrangements for my Aunt Barbara, Amanda's Mother. Please see her words below that share this difficult journey that began at the end of 2021. Any financial contibution will go directly to final arrangements and is greatly appreciated.

Words from Amanda Moore:

My mom was originally diagnosed with stage 4 small cell lung cancer in December of 2021. Her initial outlook was bleak. She had part of her spine removed. She didn't leave the hospital until Feburary of 2022. The doctors gave her more time with us and we maxed that time out to the best of our abilities.

It took a bit of time before she was able to travel about. In 2022 we were able to celebrate 4th of July at Hagen Park. Attend the Nevada County Fair. Even a day at Pier 39. My mom, Desirea, Tasha and I took a girls only trip to Yosemite in November 2022. It was our 1st time there and we fell in love. We did it together. We learned how to travel with mom and made more plans. My mom was blessed that she was able to take her grandkids to Disneyland in March 2023. She was so proud and pleased with herself. We all enjoyed that trip and the time we spent together. That was just the beginning. It was hard for mom to travel far but short day trips were cake. I wanted to do as much as I could with her until we couldn't. we visited the following places

Disneyland. Virgina City. Carson City. Lake Tahoe, Placerville (5), Plymouth, Sausalito, Legion of Honor Museum, Half Moon Bay, San Francisco Zoo, Palace of Fine Art, Coloma, Loon Lake, Sutters Creek, Mission San Juan Bautista, Pinnacles National Park, Monterey, Carmel, State Fair, Columbia State Park, Yosemite, Hope Valley, Big Trees State Park, Jackson, Stockton, St. Helena, Calistoga, Napa, Lake Tahoe, Reno, Wild Life Sanctuary, Whiskeytown, Redding, Humboldt Redwoods State Park, Weed, Mt Shasta, Cloverdale, Mendocino, and Fort Bragg. She had numerous cabin stays and even went with Sherri Byrd without me. She loved time at the Ponderosa Resort on the American River. We played a lot of Yatzee. She was able to attend the 8th grade promotion of Jordan and Ryleigh. She was able to attend birthday celebrations, holidays, and other events with family. Saw her great nephew baptized. She could visit and love on her many nieces nephews cousins etc She was able to go wedding dress shopping with me plus a bridal expo but after my Aunt passed I didn't want a wedding I wanted to spend my money and time making memories with my mom. I don't regret it.
