Supporting and promoting Afghan music and musicians in exile

Hello, my name is Mohammad Qambar Nawshad an Afghan conductor, composer, and percussionist currently living in Germany.

I have organized “A Concert in Celebration of German-Afghan Solidarity” in collaboration with the InstrumentalVerein Orchestra Dortmund.

This concert is financially supported by the Goethe Institute, helping and supporting Afghan musicians and artists throughout the world. This concert is going to be from 04.03.2025 to 04.07.2025 in Dortmund Germany!

As Afghanistan's culture and music are right now at a high level of risk and under strong threat by the current regime, this is a great opportunity for Afghan musicians to showcase their music and culture and also to represent Afghanistan from a different perspective in the world.

Despite that, this concert is organized to be the voice of the Afghan people and be voice of millions of Afghan women who are right now going through hard times and suffering from the oppression of a regime that is not representing Afghanistan at all.

I believe that this is a wonderful chance for Afghan musicians to build their relationship with the music community in Germany and to promote Afghan music and culture. This donation will go to the Afghan musicians in Germany who are enthusiastically supporting and taking part in this concert as an honorarium to support and admire their unique musical talent and dedication!
