Hello, my name is Kylie and I’ve set up this page for my cousin, Andrew…

Just 8 weeks ago, Andrew woke up with jaundice and went to the ER. What initially appeared to be a liver issue quickly turned into something far more serious. Within days, he underwent three urgent operations to insert a shunt and prevent complete liver failure. Then came the diagnosis: stage IV metastatic pancreatic adenocarcinoma, with cancer already spread to his liver.

Andrew is just 46. He has a young family. And now, he is facing the fight of his life.

Since his diagnosis, Andrew has begun intensive chemotherapy—he has a long road ahead with many unknowns. As you can imagine, this has been a devastating shock for all of us, but especially for his partner Billie and their children: Trent, Ivy, and Amelie. It has also deeply affected his parents and siblings.

After years of saving, planning, and dreaming, Andrew and Billie finally built their family home last year—a place filled with warmth, laughter, and the promise of all that was to come. They had just begun to settle into the life they’d worked so hard for only now to be faced with the hardship of cancer. As you can imagine, with treatment now underway, Andrew is unable to work. Billie, a dedicated nurse, has also had to step back from her own job to support Andrew and their children through this incredibly emotional time. But as we all know, life doesn’t pause for heartbreak—bills still come in, and the costs of treatment, care, and everyday living continue to rise.

If you know Andrew, you will know it’s extremely rare for him to ask for help or to burden anyone with his problems – even through this, he has not asked for much, just the time to be able to spend with his family. And so, this GoFundMe has been created to lift just one piece of the weight off his shoulders. Funds raised will go directly toward helping Andrew and his family cover living costs, medical expenses, and the day-to-day realities of navigating life with cancer.
