Supporting Angela Bosma through Terminal Cancer

Dear Friends, Family, and Community,

We come to you with heavy hearts and an urgent plea for support. Our beloved Angela Bosma, a vibrant 41-year-old, was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer on November 8th. Her cancer has already spread throughout her abdomen. Since her diagnosis, Angela has faced numerous hospitalizations, and been given a terminal prognosis while navigating the challenges with remarkable strength, courage, and faith in the Lord.

Angela's treatment plan is palliative chemotherapy, which will take place every two weeks, starting on December 4th. There is no cure for her, (barring a miracle) but chemo will hopefully extend her life. The goal is to cherish every moment together as a family, staying in the comfort of their home while facing this formidable battle head-on.

Angela, who was working full time just a few weeks ago, confronts unique challenges daily. A hospital bed is set to arrive at their home tomorrow, underscoring the urgency of our support to enhance her comfort during treatment. Angela, who now holds a handicap parking pass, finds walking a significant challenge and will now be relying on a wheelchair and walker to navigate her daily life.
