Supporting Ashley In Her Fight Against Leukemia

A few months ago my sister started experiencing odd symptoms. After many test doctors were unsure of what was going on. Her red and white blood cell counts and platelets kept declining, which led to a bone marrow biopsy. The result of that procedure determined a diagnosis of Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML). This is a very aggressive form of blood cancer. Ashley was admitted to Froedtert hospital in Milwaukee on October 20th to start chemotherapy treatments. She will be there for at least a month with outpatient care to follow. Ashley is a 37 year old single mom to her 14 year old son Landon and 4-legged fur baby Rocco. At this time it is unknown when she will be able to return to work depending on how her body responds to treatment. This is going to be a long and tough battle for her.
