Supporting Audrey and Her Family

Hi everyone,

As you all probably know by now, our sister Nicole and her beautiful family are going through a very difficult time. Last week, Audrey had to be admitted to hospital, as she had been struggling with some issues for quite some time, and the current treatments were no longer enough. Not long after being there, her parents received the worst news any parent could hear, that their beautiful 7 year old girl has a brain tumour. We are still waiting for more tests to find out exactly what type and what the next steps are. Unfortunately, this isn't the only health issue Audrey is up against. She needs to get a lumbar test and to work with the paediatric mental health team, plus other tests. Audrey is an amazing, wonderful and strong girl and we know she will fight all if this.

As you can imagine, her parents are under a lot of stress, but they are also very strong and doing such an amazing job for Audrey and Conny. Naturally, Nikki and Nick have taken some time off work to be their for the kids. Both of their workplace's have been extremely supportive, but unfortunately Nikki is in work that doesn't include pay for time off. We are all doing what we can to help during this difficult time, and it will continue to be tough for quite a while. However, this will be a difficult for them emotionally and financially. There is a lot of travelling to and from the hospital, parking fees are a lot, plus food, medical costs, household bills, etc. At the moment, it's difficult for Nikki to leave Audrey's side for very long, and we just have no idea of when things will improve yet.

We thought we would set this Go Fund Me up as a way to help them out. If you have been thinking about Audrey, Nikki, Nick and Conny, and wondering if you could help in any way, it would be so wonderful if you could donate. Honestly, any amount would help, and it will go straight to them. If you can't donate, that's ok! The money would help in so many ways. For example: medication and medical expenses for Audrey, or paying a utility bill, petrol, parking, a gift for Audrey or Conny, a coffee, snacks/meals, and so much more.
