Your prayers, words of encouragement and compassionate support for Bettina, a local nurse, and her son Brandon continue to be appreciated.

Brandon continues to fight for his life tonight after being found unresponsive in the shower at Ada County Jail. Bettina was a bit skeptical when told Brandon attempted suicide in the shower because he has no marks on him. Heart wrenching all around given Brandon landed himself in jail after falling back into drugs and alcohol following the death of his sister in December.

Brandon was born December 6, 1985 here in Nampa. He loves BMX bike racing so much that he had just purchased a new bike and helmet to get back into something he found great joy in again. Brandon was the BMX State champion 1999 and 2000 or so. Gold cup winner in 1999 or 2000 and raced in the world championships in 2000.

There are no words that we can’t fix this for a friend... only our compassionate supportand believing she will see her family again someday will carry her through.

The GoFundMe, in honor of Brandon, will go to help Bettina with expenses as a loving and generous gesture of a community that cares. If remaining funds permit, she will make a donation to the BMX club in Brandon’s honor.
