Supporting Bill through Leukemia Recovery

Friends, my name is Arielle Brandt. My best friends are Megz and Bill Connor. Today, December 21, 2022, we found out that Bill has Acute Myeloid Leukemia, which is a type of lethal Cancer. Bill is entering the oncology unit at Advent in downtown Orlando starting tomorrow. He has to undergo extensive treatment that will essentially destroy all of his existing bone marrow. This journey is going to likely last several months. In the mean time, Bill cannot work and their household is jumping to a single income. They also have a $10,000 deductible for their current insurance. They also have a baby girl that turns one next week to take care of alongside all this “extra”.

While we are working hard to get disability and financial assistance, those are guaranteed and are often outright declined.
