Supporting Carol Washington

Carol has been a part of our PACU family for 5 years.  She has been battling               pneumonia for 3 months, and has just      been placed on home oxygen after a          hospitalization in early August.  She is unfortunately facing more surgery, and we would like to  help her any way we can.

Update 8/27:  I spoke with Carol last week.  In addition to pulmonary fibrosis, she has been diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer.  Chemotherapy started today, the first treatment of a 12 week regimen.  Chemo after that will be every 2 weeks until 5 months from now.  Looking to have a port placed in the near future, then another surgery to remove the mass once chemo is completed.
