Supporting Caroline's Fight Against Leukemia

Just recently, Caroline (known as Carrie to many of us) was rushed to the hospital due to severe shortness of breath. Her journey took a terrifying turn as she was admitted to the cardiac ICU, where she experienced a cardiac arrest while undergoing treatment to drain liters of fluid from her chest cavity. In the midst of this life-and-death struggle, it was discovered that Caroline has leukemia, and an overwhelming 100% of her bone marrow was found to be infiltrated by cancerous cells. Caroline has since embarked on a grueling path, undergoing multiple blood transfusions, enduring dialysis to ease the burden on her kidneys, starting an intensive regimen of chemotherapy, and being placed on the bone marrow transplant registry.

Caroline's mother, Chris, flew to be by her side in Austin and has remained unwavering in her support. She is joined by Caroline's sister, Catherine, and step-father, Jeff. In this challenging time, we are reaching out for your help to assist Caroline and her family in covering the substantial expenses related to travel, accommodation, and initial medical costs.

The road ahead is undoubtedly daunting, and the journey is long.
