Supporting Coach Sandoval

On June 21, 2023, Coach (Fernando) Sandoval of Gorman ISD underwent open heart surgery. Due to the severity of the blockages found, a quadruple bypass was needed. Although the surgery was successful, the weight of financial challenges during a medical emergency are heavy. He will remain in ICU as his body begins to recover from such an extensive surgery.
Fernando, Kristi, Tyson, Taylor, Tytus, & Tynslee all need the love of their community more now than ever. Fernando is a beloved Father, Son, Brother, Coach, Teacher, and friend to many. He loves his students fiercely, can always crack a joke to lighten a burden, & ministers to anyone in need at the drop of a dime.
His commitment to loving his people well rises above and stands out among the crowds. In the darkest of hours, he has acted as a pillar of strength holding those around him up in prayer.
Thoughts and prayers are incredible but those who love him will bind together and refuse to stop there. Here is where his army of family and friends rise up to share this need. $6,000 was requested this morning by Hendricks which was unattainable. However, I wholeheartedly believe that their unwavering support system can do more.
This GoFundMe was put together by request of his sweet Mama, Velma Sandoval, of Comanche. She was unable to create it on her own so this is solely filling in a technological gap. It has also been approved by his sweet wife, Kristi, who is humbled by the support of their community.
