Supporting Cody Walter's Leukemia Battle

Update 11/4/2023
Douglas and I flew to Florida to see Cody on 10/31/2023. He is in good spirits but in a ton of pain. He explained it as if his muscles were attached to his bones and his skin stuck to his muscle and they are all ripping away from the bone. You can tell it hurts just by watching him walk. He has been sick to his stomach for the past few days and suffering from a miserable head ache. His emotions are everywhere as you can imagine, his appetite is lacking as well. He is waiting for the call from the doctors to go back into Tampa General and go under to have his port placed in the top of his head. This port will stay there for the rest of his life. He made a joke about decorating it for future Halloweens. I urge you to help in anyway possible as we are starting to consider alternative treatments that insurance will not cover. Thank you, we appreciate all the support!
Hi, my name is Sabrina McCampbell. My best friend, Cody Walter, is currently battling a leukemia diagnosis. He found out in July of 2022 that he has B cell ALL. Since that diagnosis he has lost his source of income.
Cody has never been a person to ask for help, unfortunately the only income he has coming in is SSI. He has two children who still rely on him, Max and Eve, who live in Oklahoma with their mother. His family has stepped up to make sure he has a roof over his head and food on his plate. However, the medical bills, and simply keeping his phone on have become a struggle for him.
Cody's leukemia unfortunately has progressed into his brain. He starts a rather aggressive treatment later this week and needs your help! I need him to focus on his healing and not where his next $ is coming from.
Providing help for my best friend means he can focus on his care. With the bills simply adding up to a number that would give any of us anxiety; I urge you to help in any way possible.
Thank you for any help you can provide, if not monetary please share our story!
Blessings,
Sabrina
After a bone marrow biopsy that they do on him more frequently than I care for.
