Supporting Court & Mom During This Hospital Stay

Hi there, everyone! My name is Tashina.

I relocated to California about a month and a half ago to be there for my son, Court, who has been in the hospital. As you might imagine, the expenses associated with his stay are rapidly increasing. Despite this, I am resolved to stay by his side. Consequently, this means I have been unable to return to my day job. My Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) benefits are near depletion.

To paint a picture of what Court is going through; he has been diagnosed with vasculitis and has mold growth in his spine as well as his liver which keeps producing cysts. He also had to face a pseudoaneurysm. As I type this, he's dealing with bile leaks that necessitates a surgical procedure this coming Wednesday. This, of course, means a prolonged time in hospital. As if that wasn't enough, he currently can't use his legs and until the infections are under control, they can't start treatment for the vasculitis.

Given the critical state of his health, my days have turned into a constant cycle of hospital visits - seven days a week, in addition to trips to his apartment twice a week. The road to his recovery appears long and there seems no sign of a discharge plan yet. But we believe the path is guided by God.

At this point, we deeply need your support. We require help with food, accommodation, and other incidental expenses. We have created a table below to give you an idea of our current financial status.
