Supporting Dale and the Eickelberg Family

Dear Family, Friends, and caring Neighbors:
It is with so much sadness, as well as a sense of hope, that we reach out to all of you at this difficult time to ask you for help. On Monday, March 21st our beloved nephew, Dale Eickelberg, was diagnosed with Leukemia (B-Cell ALL). Since the diagnosis, Dale has begun treatment at NYU Langone Cancer Center For Children Hospital under the care of a wonderful team of doctors that are affiliated with Cohen's Children Hospital and StonyBrook Children's Hospital.
We are praying that this happy, curious, “nature-loving” 9 year old will be able to return to his once normal life of being a warm and caring big-brother to Ozzie, and Clay, enjoying fishing, lizard hunting, bike riding, and lego building.
The road to recovery will be a long one for Dale. Graham and Kara would never ask for help, but as we know they are the first to offer, so we want to set up a way for others to do the same for them. A lot of people have started to ask how to help…expenses will begin to add up as Dale begins his treatment. We are hoping this will help ease any burden that they will experience. Any amount can help and is appreciated beyond words.
We cannot even begin to express how sad we all are for our beautiful 9 year old Dale. He is such a special, sweet boy and anyone who has met him knows how amazing he is.
Thank you for your support and generosity. Keep the prayers coming.
-Grace and Ann
