Supporting Denise from Coogee Beach Fitness Club

Hey Team,

Ashley Gilbert and Dylan Kvas-Rothwell from Coogee Beach Fitness Club,

To us, all of the members at Coogee Beach Fitness Club and outside of the gym, Denise has become so much more to our beach community than we could have ever imagined. She brightens everyone's day in the caring and selfless way she so naturally carries herself.

This fundraiser has been created to financially assist Denise and her two teenage children through her current health challenge. Very recently, Denise was diagnosed with Ovarian cancer, and she requires a mass to be removed in early June.

To many, she has become a friend, a confidant, a trusted space and a welcoming smile to everybody that walks in the gym doors. Now it is our turn to give back as we are raising funds for Denise to assist her over the coming weeks and months.

This will involve four-six weeks of homecare and recovery with future rehabilitation, Physiotherapy and assistance being extremely important for her long term recovery. Ongoing care and projected care is somewhat unknown at this stage as it is unknown before surgery without too much speculation.

We are creating a space to give back to Denise and her two teenage children as she progresses into these health challenges. Your donations and support will assist her with the additional costs of care, unforeseen expenses, food, and everyday financial assistance during this time and show her some additional love during her time of need.
