Support Diana, Aldo & Elwood in loving memory of Marc Thurow

This fundraiser is in love and support for the family of Marc Thurow, who passed away on March 13th after a long battle with cancer.

Born on April 29, 1986, to Martin and Roxann (Gulke) Thurow, Marc was raised in the Merriam Park neighborhood of St. Paul. His early years were filled with rec sports, community involvement, and creating friendships that would last a lifetime. A proud graduate of Central High School, Marc went on to study environmental science at the University of Minnesota, where he developed a deep and lasting passion for the natural world.

Marc was a passionate self-taught craftsman. Whether designing landscapes, tackling construction projects, or breathing new life into relics of all kinds, his exceptional blend of technical skill and creativity made his work truly stand out. Marc had a particular passion for home renovation, pouring his heart into transforming spaces - most notably the beautiful South Minneapolis home he lovingly restored for his wife, Diana, and their two young children.

Marc was known for his steady hand, generosity, and deep commitment to those he loved. Always prioritizing the well-being of his family and friends, he was a devoted husband, father, son, brother, and uncle. His warmth, creativity, and quiet strength shaped the lives of those closest to him and will leave a lasting impact.

Marc's adventurous spirit was ever-present, especially when immersed in nature. His favorite memories were often made in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness, where he reveled in the serenity of the lakes, the quiet beauty of the forests, and the camaraderie of those by his side.
