Supporting Dr. Noor's Family After the Gaza Conflict

Donation protected
Hello,

My name is Noor, I am 25 years old, and I am from Gaza, Palestine. I have five brothers and three sisters. I am a doctor of pharmacy. Before the war in Gaza, I worked as a pharmacist at a UNRWA clinic.

Since I was a child, I have always excelled academically. I graduated from high school with a distinguished grade, which earned me a scholarship to continue my university studies.

I was one of the students of the Reach Education Fund, thanks to its founder, Mr. Waleed Mazid. I graduated from university with honors, ranking among the top of my class.

This achievement secured me a position as a teaching assistant at the Faculty of Pharmacy. I loved my job and my students dearly, and I tragically lost several of them in this devastating war.

"All beautiful paths lead to home, while all exhausting roads take you away from it."

Since the beginning of this unprecedented war, I have been lost among exhausting paths with no end in sight, and no hope of one. I have not found a path that leads to my home, as my home is gone, along with all forms of life. Our warm house, filled with our memories, was completely destroyed. We have been displaced over and over again—six times in total—moving from place to place in southern Gaza to escape death, carrying our entire lives in a small bag.

My brother Ahmad was injured during one of these displacements. A shrapnel wound to his neck severed the artery supplying blood to his brain, and he survived by a miracle. This injury caused problems with his vocal cords and speech.

We have endured months of suffering and destruction. My entire family is living in a small tent made of nylon and fabric, which fails to protect us from the burning sun during the day and the cold at night. We stand in lines for food and water, drinking contaminated water that causes intestinal infections, germs, worms, and skin diseases.

For nine months, I have lost several family members in this genocide. We have narrowly escaped death multiple times, but we do not know if we will always be so fortunate.

I lost my job, which provided some support for my family. I had aspirations to continue my education and earn advanced degrees in pharmacy. Now, I have lost my job, my life, my dreams, and my future.

Please help me and my family to escape this danger, rebuild a new life, and continue my education and dreams.
