Supporting Dylan Dunlap and his family.

For those of you who don’t know me, my name is Christina and I am a long time family friend of the Dunlap/Cawthon/Cornelison families. I am writing this on behalf of Dylan and his family. During some unrelated blood work earlier this week, it was discovered that Dylan had some “blasts” in his blood and they quickly admitted him to Enloe. It is with deep sadness to share that Dylan has since been diagnosed with B-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia.

Immediately after his diagnosis, they flew him over to UCSF on Wednesday evening. He will likely have to undergo some intense chemotherapy and then potentially have a bone marrow transplant in the future. Everything is still so new and still developing but at this point it looks as if Dylan might be there for an undisclosed amount of time. Life for Dylan, his wife Kim and their son Jake (11) just changed drastically overnight. Instead of settling into the home they just moved into up in Forest Ranch, they will now be forced with the task of finding temporary housing in San Francisco. Along with prayers, please consider donating to this sweet family to help cover some of the medical and living expenses as Dylan starts on this long journey. He is armoring up and ready to go to battle and I know he has an army of troops behind him.
