Supporting Emily's Fight Against Cancer!

Hi, my name is Holly Bendtzen, and I am a friend and co-worker of Emily Enfield. Emily is a young mother who works in senior living as a care partner. Emily is always the first to step forward and lend a helping hand to those in need. Emily is now finding herself the one in need. Emily has been diagnosed with dermatofibrosarcoma protuberans, a rare soft tissue tumor that involves the dermis, subcutaneous fat, and in rare cases, muscle and fascia. In Emily's case, she has the rare condition that is in the muscle and fascia, this is on her right temple, down to her jaw and they will be going in and removing the tumor and any affected tissue. Emily is a young mother with a three-year-old son named Tatum. Emily will be off of work for a minimum of one month and will have to be doing multiple trips to OHSU for treatment and follow up visits. This Go Fund Me will help Emily pay daily living expenses, childcare, trips back and forth to Portland, and medical expenses not covered by insurance.
