Supporting Family After Home Lost in Eaton Fire

I’m Rex, from Los Angeles now living on the East Coast. I’m raising funds for my dad and step mom, whose Altadena home of 25+ years was burned down in the LA County Fires. This home is where I spent much of my childhood and adult life visiting home in LA, and it’s been the only home and neighborhood my dad & stepmom have known for twenty five years. The home and the memories have become a huge part of our lives and is now reduced to rubble as with so many other homes in the neighborhood.

My dad, Charles, is 70 years old and still working as a Musician. The fire took away his home including his piano and place of work, making the recovery very difficult.

We’re hoping to raise some funds to help them regain essentials that were lost and to help them rebuild their lives. This includes food and supplies while rebuilding, and also musical equipment so my dad can continue working. Music is his passion but the work requires the right equipment and instruments.
