Supporting Fatima's Journey Through Dementia Diagnosis
Tax deductible
We are raising funds to support Fatima, a 40-year-old woman who is in the early stages of dementia. Fatima has always been deeply committed to making a positive impact in her community, particularly through her work with children in cultural, religious, and recreational associations. Despite her early-stage diagnosis, Fatima is still physically and mentally capable in many ways, but she is beginning to face significant challenges in her daily life.
Fatima's symptoms include memory problems, difficulty concentrating, and struggles with tasks that were once second nature to her. These challenges are affecting her social life and overall well-being. Without a proper diagnosis and treatment plan, her condition will likely worsen, making it increasingly difficult for her to maintain her quality of life.
Dementia is a complex condition, and diagnosing the specific type requires extensive and costly medical tests and consultations. To ensure Fatima receives the appropriate care, we need to cover expenses for medical consultations, diagnostic tests, specialist appointments, and potential treatment plans.
So far, Fatima has undergone PET/CT brain imaging, which indicates early degenerative disease. However, this is just the beginning of a long and challenging journey to understand her condition fully.
Your donation will help us move closer to diagnosing Fatima's dementia and securing the care she needs. Every contribution, no matter the size, will have a meaningful impact on her life.
We deeply appreciate any support you can provide, whether it's a donation or sharing this campaign with others. Together, we can help Fatima receive the answers and care she deserves as she faces this difficult journey.
Thank you for your generosity and support.

underwent a neuropsychological assessment today (10/2/2024), which lasted three hours.
This specialized evaluation examines cognitive, behavioral, and emotional functioning through standardized tests and interviews. It plays a vital role in diagnosing neurological and psychological conditions, planning treatment, monitoring progress, and providing effective coping strategies. Overall, it helps us understand how brain function affects behavior and cognition.
The initial diagnosis indicates early-onset Alzheimer’s disease, which is understandably concerning. To confirm this diagnosis, I need to undergo again an MRI, a PET scan, and possibly some blood tests as soon as possible. The estimated cost for these important tests is approximately $1,000. I would greatly appreciate any support in securing this funding to help cover these essential steps.
